Our Story

We’re sure you've heard this one before ... but our wedding calls for a fresh reminder! On September 18, 2019, we first laid our eyes on each other, at the studio of a mutual friend who was hosting a sci-fi–themed LARP. Lacey ended up playing a healer, Alex a relationship expert… and the rest is history.

Secretly locked down together during COVID in a women-only collective housing, we fell in love pandemic-style, both of us happy to be holed up with our new infatuation. Fast forward to July 18 2023: while lounging in bed on a rainy afternoon, Alex spontaneously proposed with a ruby ring he’d been hiding for months.

Now, three years into our engagement, and seven into our love story, we are finally able to bring family and friends together for the first time. When we see each other on June 30th, we will just have gotten married in the court of Amsterdam (a small ceremony attended by our siblings) and we will continue celebrating this for the rest of the day with you. We cannot wait!


A year into what would become our three-year engagement, we went on a mountain hiking trip with Lacey’s brother, Cooper. Our stay at the Hotel Regina in Mürren finally answered our year-long search for the perfect place to bring our families together.

And now, seven years into our love story, we are finally tying the knot, and we cannot wait to celebrate with our loved ones.

About your stay

We are very happy to host you for two nights at Hotel Regina, from Thursday, June 25th to Saturday, 27th.
Breakfasts are included.

Wear something you feel pretty in.
And bring comfortable shoes for mountain hiking ;)
